Pattern details page#

Before publishing, add some information about your pattern — and any extra instructions — on the pattern details page. Click ... > Edit, and a number of red pencil icons appear. Each one lets you edit a particular part of the page.

What you can edit#

  • Pattern name — adapt the name if needed.
  • Description — add a description in the center region of the page. A rich text box lets you format the text to your liking. Click Cancel or Save at the top of the text editor to stop editing the description and re-enable editing of the other sections.
  • Picture — upload one picture. It also serves as the pattern thumbnail in the Cromo Cloud library.
  • License type — choose how the pattern is shared. This is covered on a later page.
  • Tags — the Add tags button lets you choose from predefined tags that apply to your pattern. These align with the tags used on Ravelry, and Cromo Cloud visitors can filter the library by them.
  • Website link — add a link to your own website.
  • Pattern parts — the Add pattern parts button lets you create multiple parts or variations of the same pattern, as described in Pattern variations.
