Views#
CromoDesigner gives you a couple of display options that change how the pattern is shown while you work. They don't alter the pattern itself — only how it's drawn on screen.
Show grid#
The Show grid toggle button overlays a grid on the pattern, with one cell per stitch. This makes it easier to count stitches and rows and to line up parts of your design. Turn it off for a cleaner view of the finished motif.
Show symbols#
The Show symbols toggle button displays the stitch symbol in every cell, so you can see at a glance which stitch type is used where. With it off, each cell shows only its color.
Use in the generated chart#
These two settings aren't only for the editor — they also carry over when you generate a chart. The grid and symbols shown in the exported chart follow the state of the Show grid and Show symbols toggles, so set them the way you want the chart to look before exporting. See Generate chart for details.
