Exporting a pattern#

All your patterns are stored online, so they're safe by default. Exporting is simply a convenience: it lets you keep a local backup on your own computer, so you never need to worry about losing your hard work somehow.

Keeping intermediate versions#

Export is also handy for saving intermediate versions of a pattern. By exporting at a point you're happy with, you can always return to that version later if the changes you make afterwards turn out not to be what you wanted.

Exporting#

You can find the Export function in the File menu of CromoDesigner. Exporting saves your pattern as an encrypted binary file to your computer. Keep this file somewhere safe as a personal backup.
